Tim Schol
Vice President, Agent

Tim started the beginning of his insurance career with Schol & Associates in 2003. He works with all types of insurance and looks forward to daily customer interactions. In his spare time, Tim enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting; most of all, he enjoys the time he spends with his young family.
Marc Schol
President, Agent

Marc started in the insurance industry in 1977 and worked as a property & casualty claims adjuster for two years. He spent three years as a WC claims adjuster before moving on to be a Commercial Lines Underwriter. Marc spent four years as an underwriter before moving into sales for a captive insurance company; he sold all lines of coverage for the next seven years. In 1993 Marc started Schol & Associates Insurance Agency and has been the President since its inception. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family – especially his grandchildren.
Jill Wright

Jill started her insurance career in customer service with the Morse Agency in 1987. She then worked for Sentry Insurance in commercial-lines sales for several years before joining Schol & Associates in the Fall of 1996. She sells all types of insurance across Northern Illinois. Jill is a lifelong resident of Elgin, along with her husband, Brian. She has two grown children, Colton who is also working in the insurance industry, and Brianna who is pursuing a career in medicine.
Brian Hayes

Brian’s insurance career began in 2004 as an agent for a national insurance company. He joined the dedicated team at Schol & Associates in 2006. His focus is on commercial, personal, and life insurance products. His free time is spent with his wife, Nicole, and their two daughters, Kinsey and Mia. Brian enjoys attending his daughters’ cheerleading competitions and soccer games.
Ken Bruhn

Ken has served the insurance industry for over 30 years. He is a lifelong resident of the Fox Valley, along with his wife, Pam and their two daughters. He has served on the Board of the Life Underwriters Association and has been active with the South Elgin Food Pantry for many years. He specializes in Retirement Planning, 401k’s, and Defined Benefit Plans, as well as Commercial Insurance.
Paul Happach

Paul started his insurance career with a State Farm agency in Rockford, IL advising individuals on home, auto, life and small business insurance. Paul joined us at Schol & Associates to help create a brand-new position, Commercial Lines Marketing Manager. With his success in creating and implementing this new position came a promotion to, Agent. During the weekends you can typically find Paul on a boat if it is warm, snowboarding if it is cold, trying a new recipe in his meat smoker or watching the Green Bay Packers.

Pat started her Insurance Career in 1990 working for an Independent Agency. Her focus has been on Personal Lines providing quality service to clients with their ever-changing needs. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Suzie Clark

Suzie started her insurance career in customer service with Schol and Associates in June of 2018. Suzie decided to leave her family owned daycare to pursue a career in insurance. Suzie has grown up in the area. She enjoys spending time with her family and watching the Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks in her free time.
Renee Young

Renee started in the insurance industry just over 30 years ago. She started in a Claims Department of a Highly Protected Risk carrier and has held positions both on the Retail and Wholesale agency side. Renee resides in Bartlett with her husband and two children. Renee loves to cheer her son on at football games and her daughter at softball games.
Dennis Caraway

Dennis started his insurance career fresh out of college and will soon hit the 40-year mark in the industry. His career experience is complimented by many different insurance lines of coverage. He has worked for both Direct Writing Companies and Agency Operations. His business focus is Commercial Insurance, Retirement Benefits Planning and Business Life insurance. He enjoys spending quality family time with his wife Angela & two sons Joshua & Michael & their families. Collector Automobiles seems to dominate not only conversation but, also allows for them some time to work on their collection of various makes and models.
